Newark Liberty International Airport

This is a nice airport very conveniently located easier pick up people and drop them off. Navigating around the airport is very easy. There's signs everywhere to help you along the way. As long as you're not sitting here for a long time waiting the airport police don't bother you. If you have to move just drive around the loop until you see your party

Excellent airport. Centrally located near many highways, so easy to get to. Lot of flights in and out, so easy to get to almost anywhere, any time. Main concourse has restaurants and places yo get a drink while waiting even outside the departure areas. International arrivals is easy to get to and pretty comfortable area. Lots of info on arrivals and departures easy to find.

Immigrations take forever not enough officers for checking your passport. You feel very welcomed after being stuck "x" Hours on a plane and jet-lagged. People want to go quickly get to their hotel and get a shower not wait 1 hours to get check at immigration. 2018 modern time after 50 years of civil air transportation sweet .... 2/3 hours get inside an aircraft and 2 hours get out , are you kidding me !!

After our trans-Atlantic flight passport control in terminal B was efficient, but then we waited about 30 minutes for our luggage. Then we had to queue round the baggage hall (the queue peaked round the third wall!) to get through customs. On our return trip, the sky train stopped running for about 20 minutes, delaying our arrival at terminal C. Having checked-in online we were faced with a long queue with those who had not to use the kiosks to print our luggage tags. The queue to actually drop the bags off was chaotic and confused with the queue for the check-in kiosks. Then it was on to security. Our gate was 138, but we had to go to the other end of the terminal where there was a queue for the escalator up to the queue for security. When we got to the front of the queue, they stopped letting anyone through for over 10 minutes because of crowding. Then, past the guy checking documentation and into another queue. Eventually, we get to the x-ray area. The space for loading the trays is tiny, allowing only one person to load up at a time. There is no risk assessment here, all shoes must come off, even those with hardly any sole. After lifting the tray round the corner onto the conveyor it is through the body scanner, then a long wait for the bags to come through onto the short out-flow area, already over-crowded with people re-packing their bags and putting their shoes and belts back on. No sign of a chair for the elderly or infirm either side! Once in the departure lounge, we had to walk to the far end of the terminal, then to the far end of the wing to reach our gate. No time for duty-free shopping and hardly enough time to get us all through the restrooms and to buy some bottled water because of the delays. Once on the plain, we had to queue on the taxi-ways to take off (are departure times not staggered to avoid this?). All in all, a completely different experience to Heathrow Terminal 2 at the other end. The ceilings are low and the whole place feels cluttered. Trolleys cost $6 a time.

Good experiences for our party of six. SOUTHWEST AIRLINES ROCK out of Newark. Great food choices, coffee abundant. Our flight was delayed but seats were comfy, restrooms nearby. Airport staff courteous and helpful. No complaints. Thanks, Newark!
