United Club

Not as many amenities as the big United Club which is currently being refurbished but decent enough. Used to be a bit more spacious but it's been densified to cope with influx of passengers who used to frequent the big one. Should be better/quieter/better ratio of toilets to people once the Polaris lounge is open.

I have been here several times because I was a guest of a friend who has the membership. The place looks nice and comfortable. I like the food, the drinks, the reading materials I can have here. It feels really exclusive and quiet.

Used as a guest of a well-traveled colleague (thank you!). A much better place to wait than at the gate. Lots of power. Free drinks. Snacks were good too. It was crowded, but not overly so. One problem is the number of restrooms doesn't seem to jibe with the lounge capacity.

Really crowded. Not sure if the terminal would be calmer to work to be honest. (maybe day passes or more people being able to get into the club causes this) The food selection is limited to a cookie and some blocks of cheese and some soup. Staff was really friendly and the seating was nice. The selection of drinks was OK as well. Only 2 toilets for men for the entire club. Not sure why this is so crowded compared to other clubs. And the experience is less than in Europe as well.

They are currently renovating their other business class lounge at Newark, and apparently that's needed as this one is indeed old-fashioned but serves a reasonable breakfast, coffee and tea and starting from around 7 AM the fully stocked liquor bar also opens. Since the lounge is on second floor, is built in a circle where you look down on.. other passengers walking by. Nothing special with the view at all.
