Nguyen Pho and Grill

This is one of my favorite places to eat Vietnamese food at the City Market neighborhood. The owner recommended "Nam Vang" noodle, which is the Cambodian version of seafood pho with dice pork. It was VERY flavorful. They opened the restaurant some 4 years ago and still going strong. The bathroom is super clean, without the nasty chemical scent. When I'm next in town, I'll definitely stop by again to try out other dishes.

Ordered the sweet potatoes with shrimp and stir fried egg noodles. Noticed the change of ownership since playing of dishes were different. Batter used for sweet potatoes were not as crispy as I was hoping for and the shrimp had baking soda after taste. My noodles tasted nothing like stir fried but instead it was more like just stirring the noodles in sauces.

Oh, this place was awesome! We are vegan and had a great meal here, everything was very good and we chose a table by the wall of WWII pictures. I'm sure we will return again.

The food is WONDERFUL and prices affordable! they have been cutting back the menu and the curry is not a regular item, but if you see it on the special boards it would not disappoint. The broth has so much flavor too. I have a VERY picky toddler and our waitress recommended a soup she actually ate and gave it a thumbs up. note they don't have a toddler menu and her water was in a regular adult cup, no lid. This place is one of our go to places.

My favorite pho in KC! Very fast with lots of seating. Good quality meat, and lots of yummy bubble tea flavors. Also very reasonably priced. Probably one of the most affordable restaurants in River Market.
