Pho Cafe

Bottom line: Food was very good and service was below average. We will return. We went on a Tuesday at 6pm. There were several tables full including ours. We ordered a couple apps (fried egg rolls and grilled pork spring rolls). Both were very good but the egg roll order was smaller than expected. Two small rolls cut in half, one bite each. Out entrees were: Grilled Pork Vermicelli, Meatball and Beef Pho, and grilled pork and shrimp with rice. Again, all were very good. Back to the service: The servers was just not very attentive or motivated, they did bring the food and get us refill, they both just seemed like they would rather be somewhere else. Food was delivered slower than I expected for the number of guests, but was not out of line. We will be back! Hopefully they can work with their servers to get them up to snuff as this is very close to our home and very good. Update: After return trip the service was much better, the two girls that were there previous were not anymore. Don't know if they are gone or just work different nights. The server that we had was very attentive.

We weren’t expecting to love this place. Our favorite Vietnamese restaurant is a haul so we opted to give Pho Cafe another shot. We visited shortly after opening and weren’t terribly impressed with food or service but there aren’t better options in the Northland. This visit, however, totally changed our opinion. We opted for a vermicelli dish and one of the Chef’s Specials (shrimp soup). It was phenomenal as was the service! While the previous reviews mention poor service, it’s worth noting we were very well taken care of. Our waiter was attentive and helpful in navigating the menu. The restaurant was very clean and the food was fresh. I think this very well may be our new go-to after 10+ years of loyalty to the other place!

Friendly and helpful staff. Great lunch prices and proportions. Food turn around is good. Ordered the Pho, and it was huge and yummy. The beef and rice was delightful. Also, tried the Chai Thai tea and enjoyed it. I recommend this for first time and continual visits.

The special Pho is definitely great!!! Pork and shrimp rice (probably my favorite) is amazing!!! The spring rolls and the pork spring rolls are not too bad for appetizers but definitely could be better.

Average food but wonderful service. I've eaten here twice and tried three different items (Fried Rice, Pho, and vermicelli noodle bowl). In all three case the food is good but bland and lacked spice. The meat portions are cut in large chunks that I had to tear apart. However, the service is top notch and greatly appreciated.
