Nick The Greek

I am not a regular Greek foodie, so my review is based on my preference and comparison from other Greek food I have had before. The Gyro we got was beef and lamb and the flavor was THERE. I very much enjoyed it! The Greek fries were also good! The only delta I have is the chicken and pork kebabs didn’t have the juicy and flavorful taste I was looking for. Definitely recommend trying out.

Not that they need another review. But wow the Greek food is tasty. I was the only one there since it’s on a Saturday on a non workday in downtown. You think the food would be dry or sitting there. But no , they cook it and make it fresh! I’m so satisfied! Def coming back when I’m in town

Second time at Nick the Greek, first at this location. This experience was considerably better than my first. Food was really fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the greek fries, they actually come with a combo. Only issue was I ordered online and it only asked what side I wanted so I did not think a combo came with a drink, however while I was there after I had already decided to buy a drink separately I noticed on the menu that a combo came with a side and a drink. Will not be ordering online again.

Very nice location, very clean, friendly staff, quality food with generous portions. You will go home stuffed. Something for everyone! We ordered a beef lamb gyro with extra taziki & greek fries, chicken Souvlaki with extra skewer & greek fries, and for dessert Loukoumades. If you never had greek food this is a great place to start!

Best gyro I've ever had !! Not shy with the lamb at all. 1 filled me up. I've gone there several times now. I've only been in San Jose for a month, but I try to make it over there for lunch at least once a week. Every one is better than the last. They do a great job, and everyone is really nice.Food: 5/5

Lovely place to eat and it's open till midnight. Service is promising. They will first take your order and money and then give you the token number or receipt. When your food is ready they will call you or display your order number. Self-service at the table. I went there around 1 Am and still it was crowded

I have eaten at this chain three times over the past two weeks. The food is simply outstanding! We visited this location prior to seeing a show a few blocks away. This gave us the perfect opportunity for decent food that could be consumed relatively quickly. I have only ever ordered a gyro and rhe Nick's Fries. It is too much food for me but I always have a companion to help me or I take the remainder home for a second meal. The gyro is authentic with fresh tomatoes and great sauce. The fries have gyro meat and sauce on them. We arrived shortly after opening on a Sunday. The place was spotless but we were likely the first customers of the day.

Ordered the kid's plate. Portion size was satisfactory. It's self service but the server brought the order to our table. One of the best pita breads I've had. Downside was the amount of oil that was soaked on the paper.

Location in downtown San Jose. Close to SAP center. Friendly service. Food ok.
