One of the unique aspects of this restaurant that makes it stand out from other restaurants is that their to-go food tastes as good as food served fresh off the grill. You won't find a better place to eat Greek/Mediterranean food than this! This restaurant deserves a special mention.
The chicken was dry like it had been sitting out all day. The little pieces of meat were hard on the outside and dry inside making hard to chew. At least the fries were okay.
Disappointing compared to the downtown SJ outlet. Ordered a falafel bowl - the rice was bland and over cooked, the sauces were sour and the food just seemed stale. I’ve been to the outlet in downtown San Jose atleast 3 times and it has delivered every single time.
Being from New York and living down the street from authentic Greek restaurants in Queens, I can vouch for the amazing quality of the gyros at Nick the Greek. The location is a little hidden, but worth making the trip. Expect great flavor, nice portions and fair price on a full Greek menu.
Most authentic souvlaki experience in the Bay Area - not quite Gulf of Corinth crossing or Patras ferry terminal quality for those who know it, but really good! They use pork belly. I turned into a frequent customer in late 2019.
All the food here has been a Go-to favorite The gyro plate/ bowls are served at a really good portion. They have a good Kid-friendly menu and we have always wanted to try there specialty Frozen yogurt dessert with honey and baklava.
They have frozen Greek yogurt here, it’s pretty good with the honey! I love my Greek salad + lamb too!
Average food and didn't seem worth the price. The chicken was dry in the Souvlaki and the fries were completely limp. The pita was also dry.
Love Nick the Greek! Staff at this location are super friendly and the food comes out quick! This location is relatively new and it still has that brand new feel to it. I ordered the chicken gyro pita and it was perfect. Fries come inside the pita which threw me off for a bit, but wow it was so good! The mustard sauce in the pita really pulls the sandwich together. I cannot wait to come back try more options on their menu.
My food wasn’t worth the $16. The fries tasted like straight up soggy potatoes with oil. I got a chicken gyro, I tasted 90% sauce and 10% chicken. I wouldn’t come back again.
