North Academy Veterinary Hospital: Pansiera Megan DVM

Took our Husky here for a emergency visit. She started vomiting all night and seemed very miserable so we went here because she was seen here before and they were great but this visit was awful all they care about is money. Apparently our dog ate a bunch of fabric and plastic so it was blocking her systems and the doctor told us she could die if not treated as soon as possible so they kept her overnight and told us that they will start surgery on her in the morning. Well the morning came and went no call from anyone till noon hit they called and asked my husband they haven't started surgery on her yet because they wanted to make sure he had the money and we told them we do. Then they said they'll start on her mid-day and that they'll call us, hours go by and we haven't heard from anyone and we're starting to get worried. My husband calls them for an update on our dog the receptionist tells us oh she had the surgery she's resting. Ok so why didn't anyone tell us that she had the surgery and that she was recovering while we're sitting at home wondering if she's going to be ok! Worst experience ever never taking our furry baby back there again why would you tell us our dog won't make it for very long then keep putting the surgery back because all you care about is money.

Have never had such rude vets. I’ve never been pet shamed and I’ve never been made to feel so dumb. I will be taking my pets else where and definitely putting out the word on what a horrible veterinarian I had the pleasure of dealing with!

Very nice staff but we always see a different person. I just wish there was someone familiar with my dogs.
