I had my wedding ceremony and reception here and Connor was extremely helpful from start to finish! Beautiful property and historic home that is very well taken care of. My family and friends all enjoyed everything so much and I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day! Thank you Connor and Oaklands!

The Tour Guide knew so much about the home and was enthusiastic to tell us all he knew about this beautiful home he loved so much.

We entered the main building and received a very warm smile from the gentleman at the desk. As he led us from room to room very interesting details of this historical plantation helped us understand the 1980's history and the family that had built this estate.

The grounds are a absolutely beautiful. The home is made of brick and is evidenced by the deep doorways which are covered in plaster. It's simple yet elegant for the early to mid 1800's. I enjoyed all the clothing on display, yet is now going back to Atlanta. We were fortunate to see it.
