Ogden City Water Utilities

We asked the city to mail us our bill and they never did. We tried to call and find out the balance but since we weren't the owners of the property they wouldn't give us the information. Finally they sent the owners a bill saying the account was delinquent and charging us for water shut off even though they never shut it off. I am convinced there is crooked stuff going down because we just received another bill saying we've used an exorbant amount of water and hadn't paid up on the previous bill. They make zero sense and refuse to explain where random charges are coming from

City recently installed a new water pipe on our street on 25th. They shut off the water, and turned it back on and ours did not turn on. They told us that because our house was old that it must have been a clog (which they would've caused doing their work) and since it was on our side of the house, we needed to pay for it. Well, my 68 year old father and 64 year old mother who barely make it had to take out a loan for 7grand that they were supposed to be using for retirement to dig up our yard. We dug it up, and lo and behold the clog WAS ON THE CITIES SIDE and not our property. Oh, but now they are saying they are not going to reimburse the 7grand. My parents have lives here for over 40 years in this house and my dad his whole life. My mom helped get tremendous amounts of money for the schools here and has done a ton of non-profit for this community. I've talked to some neighbors and friends and turns out, lots of people have had a bad experience. If someone reads this from the city, I don't think you have any idea the crap storm about to rain down on you if this doesn't get solved pretty quickly.

Paid $200 less than 2 weeks ago to get caught up... completely. Receive ANOTHER shut off notice yesterday to pay $155. I'm not watering my yard anymore and haven't for 3 months, how is my bill still this high? And why are they trying to shut it off again so quickly? What a F***ING joke!!!!

we had rented a park and ended up having to cancel. We called and they promised us a $440 check in the mail within two weeks, it's been four and still check and no one can answer our questions when we call
