This place is awesome. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys learning something new and seeing nature up close and personal. Great idea for the family. They have an interesting show and tell lecture about the box turtles, the gators and the rat snakes, and you can "pet" all of them, if you want. :) The guide we had for the boat tour was fantastic. He and his family have lived there for generations and he was funny and very informative. The boat tour, the show and tell lecture and the train tour for a family of four was just over $100.00, but well worth it!

We had a really good time at the park! We loved hiking up to the tower and climbing up to see the beautiful view. It was also pretty neat to hold the baby gator and snakes. They had huge gators out and about also so please mind the rules and don't bring any pets in! I highly recommend going to the park if you haven't yet. Park is very pretty at Christmas time with all the lights!

So much fun! Do the whole package! Boat ride, walk around the park, climb the tower, just have fun! We got to see so much while we were there and I just loved it. You can also camp at the park if you can reserve a site. Watch out for Crazy though! He's mean!

Considering there is not very much to do at the park the price is way expensive just for a little boat ride and a train ride.. I would definitely consider going somewhere else instead of spending $17 per adult. I know they have employees to pay but it's just ridiculous. They should consider lowering the admission cost.

Great natural wildlife park. Animal exhibits, boat tours, train ride through the edge of the swamp, historical farmstead, clean, reasonable price, safe, educational, wonderful staff, close to excellent accommodations and other attractions. This place should be on the list of every American to visit! Just be aware that this is an open preserve where the wildlife roam free in their natural environment. You are safe as long as you respect the fact that you are in THEIR house. Look and enjoy but keep your distance. They are wild animals, not pets for cuddling!!
