Good place for delivery and there's free showers nice and clean restroom.
Over the last 2 years, we have had 4 shipments delivered by Old Dominion Freight Line and 3 of them were late. There is always an excuse. One time I got 2 different excuses from 2 different people about the same shipment. Now here we sit, another late shipment and another excuse.
Truckers help bring products & services to those needing them across the world. Without truckers, human beings would not be able to receive vital items like food, medicine, fuel/gas, clothing, communication, technology products & so much more. Especially needed during times of crisis, emergencies, pandemics, war, famine, poverty, homelessness, lack of enough communication, despair, loneliness, darkness & other social/justice/human rights issues.
I paid to make an appointment for this delivery to my business because I had to make sure my baby had childcare. They gave me a 4 hour window which felt like a bit of a stretch to call an “appointment” but I waited during this time. As the window neared the end I called to check on the status as I wasn’t able to extend my time at the shop. The customer service employee was extremely flippant and nonapologetic in letting me know it’s on the dock still and they can’t ever guarantee a time and the appointments are never guaranteed so it would just be here later? Very disappointing and makes no sense why they’d allow me to pay for an appointment when appointments don’t even exist according to them. Poor systems are implemented with poor customer service.
We had a wonderful delivery driver! Jeremy was so helpful making a delivery to our business in Clackamas, OR. We have very large, heavy products delivered to our warehouse and Jeremy went the extra mile to get our products unloaded for us when I couldn't. I am very thankful for his kindness and patience. Thank you!
It took one hour from check in to check out.
I am not impressed with their service. Delivery was scheduled for Friday between 11 and 3. At 4:30 I called them. Guess what, it wasn't put on the truck. She apologized and promised it would be delivered on Monday between 11 and 3. At 4:30 I called again. She said it would be delivered but that they were behind schedule. It is now almost 7 PM and they haven't arrived yet. Meanwhile, we have to sit and wait as someone has to be here for delivery. Update: he finally showed up at 7:30.
One of the best freight lines with great customer service from the drivers to the sales team to the dock workers and dispatch! If you have about type of freighter whether it's hazmat or not this carrier is the safest and most reliable.
Woman who checked me in was super nice, took 2 hours 45 minutes to get unloaded.
