Kate was very nice over the phone but once I met her it was a different story. She kept trying to sell me insurance which I didn’t want so I told her no multiple times. She started to personally attack me, saying my credit was poor (650) , my net income was bad (it’s not), and that she got screamed at by her manager, so I told her once again, no. It is unlawful to force insurance on anyone. I went to my bank for thousands more, with a lower interest rate. Don’t waste your time with this place, unless you like to be belittled and personally attacked.

This place is not professional. They send you an approved email and ask you call to make an appointment to take a loan. Once when they check with every documents that you have applied to get an approval, then they deny the approval instantly. They should said that you are preapproved, not approved. It was under a false advertisement that makes you think you are officially approved.

I'd like to share my experience with OneMain Financial witch was Springleaf Financial when I first signed up for membership. A friend of mine steered me to them saying they are fast and convenient.. They really where. I called at 11:00 am and applied on the phone. I Was done in 20 minutes and my loan associate told me to come to the office at lunch 12:00pm and sign some papers. There office was only 5 minutes away from my job witch was awesome. I was told that I would get a call back by 3:30 pm with an answer. So at 1:30 pm I received a call to pick up my check on the way home. That was fantastic. I stopped back in there and grabbed my check and went to the bank to deposit it.What a great experience. I would recommend them to everyone. :-)

They phone call badger you for payments even when they are not late. Rick is the guy I've always dealt with and he forcefully sells insurance and makes you feel guilty about not getting it. Ryan, the branch manager, is nice though.

These idiots will approve a loan for anyone, watch out. I ha a loan approved in my name and didnt even apply but the damn thing got approved even though the # they called to verify was not mine.
