I'm a vet and I'm also permanently disabled they're not intertwined. I have never gotten such close face on Face Time to get me help. Every single person from just Section 8 part to the VA hash has been so wonderful I cannot speak highly enough. I also go to the VA Long Beach and have a great doctor and I am referred within 3 weeks to whoever I need to see it's incredible. I could name people here but I don't think I'm supposed to. Smile

I can't complain about welfare, but some of their staff members can be unbearably condescending, and when they make mistakes, they won't apologize. They treat you like criminals trying to scam the system and make you jump through hoops to prove you're poor enough for their help. It's like they want you to fail. I don't understand why some of those people work there when they are so unsympathetic to the people who are in need of their services. They don't treat you like people. You are just a case file.
