My review is based solely on their customer service. I called to ask about selling a guitar and an amplifier, in which the man kindly said they don't normally do that kind of stuff but he was more than happy to give me the value of my guitar and amp. He even suggested a way of selling it that would be my best bet. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE ASHTON, KEEP IT UP! 👍🏻

For starters, I never write reviews. I don't do much on social media. But I felt compelled to write this one. I went in here looking for an acoustic guitar to travel with. My Martin stays at home unless I'm gigging. These guys treated me as if I was buying a highend guitar. No pressure , but awesome service. When I settled on a Epiphone under $200, they actually gave the fretboard a lemon oil rubdown and adjusted the action for me. This is an amazing store. I spent over a hour just kicking back and jamming on the nice selection of acoustics, even after I settled on my Epiphone. Joplin needed a music store like this. They have high end to low end, and the prices were more than fair. I have literally visited dozens of guitar shops in my travels and never had such a nice experience. I live on the West Coast where you get either high pressure, or simply ignored. I know Joplin very well and I can say that Joplin musicians are lucky to have a shop like this. I recently went into Palen to get my guitar fixed since it was still under warranty. They had to ship it off to their repair shop to try to get it fixed. All the employees kept me updated on what was going on with my guitar and how long it should be before the new one was shipped in. The customer service here was awesome. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a new instrument to come here, the one I have sounds amazing. Thanks Palen Staff

I went in with the intentions to trade or sell an American Strat and a Hot Rod Deville 2x10. I was wanting a Vox ac13 they had a bit under 500$on. The manager offered to trade my USA Strat (great condition) and my DeVille both for the AC15. What a douche. I will never go back here they insulted me for the last time.
