They have a great staff on hand and a really nice selection of guitars and other musical instruments on hand. Though they are a little bit pricey on new guitars, it's not more than any other music shop. If you're wanting a really good deal on a guitar, buy used. They do usually have some nice used models available in their inventory as well, and they have a great room for their higher end acoustics like the Taylor and Martin's where you can try them out. It was so helpful for me when I was searching for a new acoustic guitar being able to go play a wide variety of higher end models before making a decision.

You can get everything a little cheaper on Amazon, but!!! Musical instruments and gear are something you should test before you buy (unless its a cable or strings, reeds etc.} There is nothing as frustrating as getting an instrument online and then sending it back because of a flaw!! The personal nature of the service and knowledgeable staff make it worth the little extra. I always buy strings here and send my guitar to be re-fretted. They also give lessons here!

Very helpful staff, ask for James and Nick. Caleb is a great Luther and is very friendly. Amanda has also been very helpful and teaches piano lessons. I wanted to update my review because there are some new faces over there. Basically everyone else not already listed above is both friendly and helpful. This is the first place I go to check out guitars or bring one of ours in to have it setup.

Bought my Martin here most recently ..Ive been a customer for years . So many great guitars and always a great deal and the best staff . First and best in Joplin .

The staff here is super friendly and helpful. They know their stuff, and they have the best selection in town.
