I had the pleasure of meeting and touring with Ariel. She was very informative and helpful through the application process. She showed me all the amazing amenities they offer! She also gave me some recommendations for great restaurants in the area that i loved and that were in short distance from the property!!! I cannot wait to bring my partner back to tour this facility and hopefully make it our home!
Me and my friend was looking around and stumble upon these apartments on Josephine st. We met a wonderful staff member name Brianne who was super friendly and made you feel at home. The place is gorgeous and very nice and clean on the inside. The amenities is the deal breaker with the pool and the gym access. So if you want help looking for an apartment go to Brianne for help.
My friend stays here, and I must say that this apartment complex is so nice. Everything is well maintained and clean! Awesome amenities and a great staff. Ms. Brianne help me once. She was very helpful and professional.
I had an opportunity to view these apartments not too long ago. I haven't quite decided if this is where I'm going to live, but the facility looks well kept and the staff was professional and friendly. Especially Brianne. I see no real downsides here.
Extremely disappointed with the reprehensible treatment provided on move in. Throughout my application process, Josephine’s service was top tier. A day after our application was submitted, we reached out to change the room simply because my one reason for being willing to come to Josephine was if I was able to obtain a balcony. After driving 24hrs from Massachusetts with my partner and 8 month old daughter, Ariel provided us with the best service. Ariel walked us to our room and lo and behold, there was no access to a balcony. I asked Ariel where the access to the balcony was and she informed me that room 401 was not equipped but she would connect us with, Brianne Baham, the person over our file. Brianne had provided exceptional service up until that point, however it was extremely frustrating to hear that the number one selling point to get me to choose Josephine was not available. After discussing with Brianne, I asked to speak with the manager. While speaking with the manager, I was told that I did not ask for a balcony. I explained to them that it would be fair to say they did not remember me talking about a balcony or that they made a mistake and did not set us in a balcony room but to literally say i didnt ask them about one was gaslighting and horrible customer service at best. Why would I be so adamant about a balcony if I had not made this a major piece of my decision. Why would I have screenshots of the balcony in my phone or have text threads of wanting to set some grass down to practice putting. When I asked the manager what can be done, her first response was “we can break the lease.” Think about driving 24hrs from Massachusetts with your belongings to be told that the only option was “we could break the lease.” They could of atleast offered to remove an administrative fee, offer us the rent price that was presented online instead of saying it changed despite the listed price, she could have offered an apology. Instead, the manager leveraged the fact that we drove 24hrs, got and 8 month old, and an emotional mother worried about where her baby would lay her head. I must say, prior to today service was excellent and I looked forward to living here. After today, I feel this reprehensible experience from a manager toward new residents brings to question the type of service/experience throughout our time here. I am grateful for Ariel and Brianne though. The manager not so much. Despite the move, I am now happy with the customer service provided to my family over the past week. A few days ago, Brianne personally knocked on our door and offered us a room with a balcony. It really meant a ton as she did not have to come knock on the door to tell me. She also walked with me to view the new space right before it was time for her to leave work. Brianne and Emily also made the signing of the new lease agreement seamless. As well as provided a checklist to ensure everything was smooth. Thank you Brianne, Ariel, and Emily.
Ariel was the best apartment tour guide I’ve had in Nola. I originally had the Josephine as my 4th or 5th choice but her tour brought it up to the top. The only reason I don’t live there is because the Josephine was out of my budget. Really creative floor plans too!
1643 Josephine. What a great location! Three hotels near by for any in-laws. Close enough to help with the kids but not close enough to make you tear your hair out. A block away from public transportation, which gives you access to two universities, a theater, a couple of restaurants, public parks. There could be a grocery store on the same tram route but since I mainly order from Uber Eats, I would not know. I also love the amenities at 1643 Josephine. They have an area grass/turf? for your pets to use the bathroom if you haven't trained them to use your toliet. No pet rent or security deposit, you can stop making jokes about your pets needing to pay their way. They have a salt water pool but since I haven't got water in my mouth yet, I cannot speak on the taste. A social lounge so you can practice avoiding small talk with people within the safe confines of your building. A private courtyard is offered for picnics....but not private where you can walk around nude. Private but shared. Outdoor fire pit where you can enjoy the Louisiana heat by adding more heat. They offer a 24-hour gym available for the one hour a week you plan to use it. A cyber lounge, great for those who don't have a smart phone. The place has a luxury feel, far from the Gucci bags you buy at the New York swap meets. The rent is decent. It won't cost you an arm and a leg, just one or the other. The staff are great. No pervy handy men. Ariel NOT a real life mermaid to my disappointment and Brianne at the leasing office are well-informed and helpful. The apartments are great. No bugs, rats, or spy cameras. Fast internet, great kitchen. The washer and dryers work. The website mentions 9 foot ceilings. At 5'10, they make me feel rather short. Some have balconies and some don't...but since the dryers work, you no longer need a space to hang your clothes like you did at your old apartment. Take a chance on it, you won't regret it.
The apartment complex was amazing. Brianne was very nice and very knowledgeable of the property and surrounding areas and was able to answer all of my questions.
This is the best building I have ever lived in. I am wheelchair-bound and the staff here are always helping me and making sure my apartment is safe for me. Ariel, who works in the office, is always so sweet to me and helps me get my mail and packages. The maintenance staff are always prompt and efficient in fixing any issues in the apartment. I recommend this building to anyone looking to live in the lower garden district!
Recently swung through 1643 Josephine and they've done a tremendous job with the renovation of this building! The modern feel of the building and the city graphics in the leasing office was awesome!
