Paradiso Mexican Restaurant Grand Forks

The menu has a variety of delicious what I would call Mexican/ American dishes to chose from. Tacos to chimichangas I have tried them all and never had a bad experience. The staff are friendly and service is prompt and speedy even on busy days. And remember Mondays are buy one burrito get one free.

Pretty poor for Mexican or Tex-Mex. Food lacked flavour and was pretty bland. Order was missing hot sauce as requested, which might have been a redeeming quality. Portion size was large (hence the 2 stars) I also received a large bag of tortilla chips and a large salsa which I didn't order. (Would rather have hot sauce requested) Its not that it was not spicy it was bland. No cumin no tomatillos no cilantro. Tastes like everything came from a jar. Even taco bell is better. Do yourself a favour and try real Tex-Mex or authentic Mexican food you too would see what's lacking here. This place has as much to do with Mexican food as it does to Chinese food. This is an insult to the illustrious flavourfull food of Mexico and Tex Mex for that matter.

Just wondering why do they grab the chips with both bare hands, too many employees handling the chips with bare hands, why not plastic gloves? or tongs?....I observed 1 employee wipe her nose with her hands then. grab the chips

Very nice, and clean. Cleanest bathroom ever. Food is not great. But I love authentic Mexican. This is truly "West Mex"

Just tried it, really good. I couldn’t even finish the plate it was so filling, my only problem is that the chips were just from like a bag you buy at the store, it’s not a big deal as it would be too much effort for them to cook their own. Otherwise very delicious
