Brick & Barley Bar and Restaurant

We went here at 5pm, so it was almost completely empty. That was fine with us. What we had a problem with was the food. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, and then menu claimed it had house made marinara. This pizza was so obviously a frozen pizza.. the cheese was so stale and almost plastic like, the crust was thinking and crunchy, like those $2 frozen pizzas have. My husbands pulled pork sandwich was fine, much better than the pizza. But they were out of the beer he wanted (also not a big deal) but basically for the horrible pizza, I would not recommend this place. Maybe the other food is better, just don't get the pizza.

I am sad to write this review as I love to support small businesses and loved to go to Brick and Barley. However, after my experience this past weekend I don’t think this establishment deserves even one star. My friends and I were harassed, disrespected, and belittled by the bouncers and management. They did not believe that my friends Idaho ID was a real ID. We fully understand that the bouncers must check IDs and examine to ensure authenticity. However, the bouncers and management at Brick and Barley refused to believe it was a real ID despite questioning my friend. They were extremely rude to us stating, “watch me break this ID.” They refused to call the cops, which is what they should have done if they didn’t believe the ID was real. The man would not give the ID back and hit our hands away when we tried to grab it so he wouldn’t break the real ID. He proceeded to use his full force to break the ID. The ID is now bent in two places, one which is a complete bend across the picture of her face. My friend is 25 years old and now forced to buy a new ID because of what Brick and Barley has done. She is over 1,200 miles away from home and must use a ruined ID because of what the bouncer has done. While we were at Brick and Barley, we decided to call the police as we felt we were treated so unfairly and harassed by these bouncers and management. Sadly, the police were not able to do anything as it is a private establishment and we were no longer allowed inside after they had broken her ID. My friends, family, and I will never be returning to Brick and Barley and will be simply going down the street to Half Brothers for a much more enjoyable experience without being harassed.

We were looking to watch the hockey game and they quickly made it happen. The server was great, the men were sampling beers and she was patient with us. The kitchen made a mistake on my special order and it took way longer than they expected but I was impressed when the check came they didn't charge us for it. Really appreciated them going above and beyond.

Food and beer selection were great but the service was severely lacking. Waited about 15 minutes until the server came to help the first time and everytime after that was about 10 mins each. It was not very busy either.

Good beer selection, but you can tell they don't clean their tap lines very well. Beer tastes off.
