Best New York Cheesecake in town, definitely worth the short walk up here from the Saint George's Ferry Terminal.

Not only does this place have great coffee and sweets, the FOOD is incredible! If you love real Southern-style dishes, do NOT sleep on this place. Creamy shrimp & grits with cheese and seasoned fried chicken and waffles are the truth! Better get in on this before word gets out about Sunday brunch and there’s a line waiting to get in!

I just visited this place for the first time yesterday and i really enjoyed my visit. The shop is clean and has a few tables to sit down and enjoy your coffee/pastry. All of the reviewers that have said that they have the best apple turnovers are absolutely right! I'll definitely be back to try some of their other offerings.

I love the super decadent apricot Rugelach with a nice cup of freshly brewed Colombian coffee, or a Salted Caramel Crunch cupcake with a Caramel Latte. The owner is wonderful, helpful and funny. She also has great taste in old school music. I love hanging out there and working on my biz remotely via the free WiFi. Nothing like having a local small business that I can enthusiastically support! Check this place out!

I love this place! I recently moved backed to the city from college. I had been missing the coffee shop vibe, where I could read or study while enjoying some good coffee and delicious treats. THEN I DISCOVERED THIS PLACE! I love coming here on Saturday mornings for a great pastry Peanut Butter Cupcake, Cinnamon rugelach, CINNAMON BUN, oh and the rainbow cakes!, latte and cool space to work. The street it is on has many antique and second had stores, so I guess you can say it's an "eclectic" area. Nice to know something like this exist on the island.

Such a lovely place to have some tasty coffee and delicious dessert in Staten Island!! I had the white chocolate mocha with soy milk and whip cream on top and a piece of cheesecake with strawberries!! Coffee was good, strong fresh taste, the whipcream was a good sweet addition to it. Cheesecake was made and prepared by the coffe shop and was so good, had a nice crispy crust that was perfectly suited with the cheesecake filling. The ambiance was nice and peaceful. Would definitely recommend Pastry Lovers Choice in Staten Island, New York

We drove from Delaware to the Bakery for a special order of Cinnamon Rolls. The employees were so wonderful and friendly. The Cinnamon Buns were to die for and the owner even walked out to the van to my client who is unable to walk to personally thank him for the business. Kudos we will be back for sure!!!!!

Un-be-lie-ve-ably tasty cheesecake! They also have cinnamon rolls, cake pops, muffins, and a lot more. Coffee and alike, of course, too. Location is a bit off, but well worth the trip. A bus stop is right across the street. It's family-run and they are very friendly, creating an absolutely cozy atmosphere. My advice: don't miss it!

If you want fantastic carrot cake, Pastry Lovers Choice is definitely the place to get it. It's the best! If you love apples....the apple pies and apple turnovers are scrumptious too at PLC. After tasting the fine pastries here, you'll always prefer the real deal at Pastry Lovers Choice.

February 11th was the perfect rainy day for brunch. Through friends I'd heard extremely positive reviews for a shop called Pastry Lovers Choice or PLC for short, and a little research revealed that shrimp & grits was on the brunch menu. It's a small eatery on a quiet street in Staten Island, which I'm certain contributes to its very welcoming atmosphere. Upon arriving I ordered the Hot Chocolate made with white chocolate. It was sweet. It was rich. It was delicious! A finer cup of hot coco couldn't be had if you were in Belgium. My dish of shrimp & grits came with a buttermilk biscuit. I've never had biscuits like these! And as for the signature dish responsible for me taking a trip on this rainy Sunday? It was....divine. The creamy grits paired extremely well with the tasty shrimp. As I was consuming this succulent meal, I remarked to the chef that I wished every eatery & brunch spot was a PLC. Prior to today, the best meal I've ever tasted was in 2009 when my then girlfriend & I stayed at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. PLC now rightfully owns that top spot. In the words of Anton Ego from the film Ratatouille - I shall be returning to Pastry Lovers Choice soon, hungry for more!
