Pattaya Thai Restaurant

The food is very good, very traditional Thai food. My only complaint is that is a little bit expensive. But you definitely pay for what you get. Most of time service is reasonably fast. But when the waitresses are busy might lack to refill your water. Other than that awesome place to eat.

Great food. Fun, airy space. The cook is very capable of more traditional Thai also. The spicy chart is very accurate and the food can get very hot. They even make homemade coconut ice cream if you ask. Timely service and pretty good menu selection. They also have a bar with draughft tap and some liquor choices.

Food: great authentic flavors, I mean really, really, really good! Price: a little expensive for the portions, Thai food is not expensive nor difficult to make if you know the flavors. Spicyness: very accurate! If you ask for 3 stars it’s 3 Thai stars. Waiting Staff: sucks, not attentive, not organized, answers your questions with run around responses, if you don’t know the answer just say you don’t know instead of answering the question by babbling about something I didn’t ask about or, take pride in your work by doing your homework. Otherwise I’d give a 5/5 stars.

We ordered several dishes to go for Mothers Day, one of which was a pineapple fried rice. My husband ordered a 2.5 spice level and realized once we began eating that there was no spice. He called the restaurant and the owner verified that the kitchen forgot to add it. He told my husband he could come pick up some spice. My husband explained that we live more than 15 mins away and it doesn't make sense to drive that far for spice when his food would be cold by the time he returned to it. The owner then said he didn't want to credit him an entire dish, but he would give him a spring roll for the error. A SPRING ROLL?! The point of ordering spicy Thai food is to have spicy food. The dish was made in error, which was verified, and he should have offered to credit the dish his kitchen screwed up. We were loyal customers and he's lost our business. Had we been eating there fixing the dish by adding the spice would be reasonable, but to expect your customer to return to your restaurant for a container of spice and then return home to fix their own dish that's now cold is completely ridiculous. Would have returned today for my birthday lunch, but we gave our business to a different Thai restaurant.

Excellent food, they really mean "hot" spice level. The waitress was prompt and exceptional. Nice place
