Pecanland Mall

I grew up in southern Arkansas about an hour from Pecanland Mall in Monroe. It was always the place to go on the weekends for hanging out or shopping. Out of all the places I have lived, Pecanland Mall is one of the largest and cleanest shopping malls I have ever visited. It's pretty spread out considering it is one floor throughout. There is parking available completely around the mall (no parking deck). However, even though there is mall security, keep valuables in the trunk or at home. There are break-ins especially at night. Mall opens at 10 am. Great for those people staying in the hotels surrounding the lot to get some walking exercise in. Beautiful fountain inside. Also, an nostalgic, yet operable carousel inside that's huge and fun for all ages.

This mall has been around since the 90s. It’s one level that includes a movie theater, carousel and a food court. The big box stores are Bell, Old Navy, Dillard’s, JCPenney and Sears. The stores open late at 10 am and close early at 9pm. I seldom visit this place nowadays because everything they offer can be found online and the mall has lost its pizazz. If you use the rental strollers be sure to wipe them down with Lysol wipes first.

The mall is in the adjacent parking lot of the hotel I stayed in in Monroe Louisiana. I love you One Stop Shop a short walk across too many stores including Belk's this is a dangerous store and they had way to much on sale the weekend I was there. I simply had to walk away before sold off something I needed in order to buy more things. And I also had a very large food court with a good variety of choices. I intend to pay a visit back to this mall in the near future.

Good selection of stores. Place seems fairly clean. There is a sort of feeling you get when you are just out walking around and browsing and aren't in a rush. This place can handle your pace.

Pecanland Mall is a nice place to shop. They have a good selection of clothing stores, jewelry stores & shoe stores. They do have a sporting goods store, an outdoor clothing store, as well as various other specialty stores. The have a decent selection of fast food restaurants in the food court area. There is also a movie cinema near the food court with 10 theaters . They have staff that keeps the food court clean and they do a good job. You always see them cleaning. The mall has uniformed security walking around most of the time, especially on weekends. I've never had any problems here. I would recommend this place to others.
