Pelican RV Park New Orleans

Greg is great, the park is close to everything we wanted to see in New Orleans and was a convenient central hub. The price is right and we have no complaints. Yeah it was a bit noisy at night but Greg told us long before we decided to stay that it might be and he put us away from it as much as he could. You have to eat at Smiley's Grill just outside the gate. Tasty food, nice staff.

Stay there for 2 months. The owner Greg is a great guy. It's gated, and there was no problems at all. Sometimes a little noisy, but you get used to it real quick. The other people in the RV park were very nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

We enjoyed our stay here! Greg was fantastic. The reservation program messed up my booking and Greg fixed it immediately. When we got there, he helped us back our monster in and get set up. I liked that it felt secure. There's a main gate and a passenger gate, both with codes. It's not too far from the French quarter and right off the interstate. Wal-Mart and fast food is within a 3 minute drive or a 20 minute walk.

Affordable option for a place to park/camp for Mardi Gras, not your conventional rv park, but we can't complain too much. Industrial area. Residents were friendly, kept to themselves mostly. Always felt safe. Issues with reservations were quickly resolved with a phone call. Disadvantage: only one shower/toilet and the toilet didn't work for most of our stay. Easy to get to French Quarter etc, and the daiquiri bar next door was a fun advantage.

Very secure RV park. When we arrived a young man helped my husband get set up. It is not the best we have stayed at, but the security was worth and help was worth the stay. The only drawback was trying to pay for our stay, the man did not take credit card info when we called. When we arrjved he did not wan't our fee then saying he would see us later. We never caught up with him so upon leaving we left a check in the office door
