Thought my brakes needed changed. The guys looked at it and told me they were fine. They could have lied and told me they needed changed, I wouldn't have questioned it, and they could have made money. But they were honest and told me I didn't have to get them changed for a while.
Went to get some Cooper tires was supposed to get $100 off with instalation they said they couldn't put them on because tool box in back was to heavy I asked if I could buy them and still get the $100 off to get them installed somewhere else they said yes, just checked my receipt two days later and found they didn't give me the $100 off, they straight up lied to my face I will never go there again, EVER!!!
Did an online order for tires and scheduled an appointment to get them installed. Showed up for the appointment that was scheduled 4 days after the order was placed. The gentleman at the front advised that they only had one technician and it would be a wait. Then asked what my name was, he then proceeded to tell me that they didn't even have my tires in stock. Pepboys website advised me when I placed the order that they were in stock at that location. Even with this error, I drove almost an hour to get this service completed and no one had the decency to call me prior to my appointment to let me know that they didn't have the tires. They advised me to come back Monday and if they still didn't have the tires that they would have some of similar value or better to put on for me. Called before I went and they advised they still hadn't shown up to come back around 10-10:30 and they would make it right if the tires were not there by then. Arrived at location and found that no one had even ordered the tires until the Saturday when we arrived on 12/11 even though the order was placed on 12/7. Then the individual offered tires that were of lesser value than the ones that I had originally purchased. If Pepboys is going to offer online ordering it needs to coincide with the work that is being done in the shops. Also they need to be courteous and call the customers if their items are not in stock before their appointment, don't just let them show up and be blind sided.
Not bad experiance but had to wait a few minutes with no line. No one was at the register but someone else checked me out in automotive
I want to thank DJ and the other gentleman that was at the front desk helping. We were in dire need of a last minute tire fix ON MEMORIAL DAY and they came through to help us. They were so quick in responding and we waited no longer than 15 minutes. Outstanding customer service! I couldn’t be happier. Give them a raise!
Not only did I get a great deal on tires, but 2 weeks later when I had a nail in my tire they fixed it at no charge even though I didn't have the road hazard warranty. Both visits included very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I recommend this store to anyone and know I definitely will be back
Big guy at the counter always nice and service is good. Although it's a disappointment that I can't peruse stuff for my car and Pep Boys had one of the largest selections of automotive related items out of any store that offers them. From what I've learned they will just be doing service from now on and will not be selling parts or allowing shopping anymore at all. Too bad...
Ok so I was referred to you guys by multiple people and I was excited to go and get my service done. On two different occasions I was dismissed. I did my research ahead of time to see when it closed and went in with plenty of time and the man at the front counter was not friendly or accommodating and could not refer me to a place that could also provide me the service that I desperately needed on my car I was simply dismissed and talked to with disrespect and it’s very disappointing because I was very much looking forward to using you all now and in the future, sad to say that won’t be happening and I will not be referring anyone to you.
