Persy's Place Dartmouth

Great local restaurant for breakfast and lunch. I mostly come here for breakfast and oder their Belgian waffles every time. Food is great, the people that work there are very friendly, and it's got a nice atmosphere. It can get very busy on weekend mornings.

(use to be) Best all around! Great food, large selection, friendly people and lots of room! EDIT: I've been coming here for a very long time, but since Liz left (manager), along with most of the wait staff, the service and friendliness has been pretty bad. Long waits for drinks and condiments, waitress' taking too long in my opinion, to come back to the table to see how things are, the rudness and even getting a server in the first place. Food use to be be very consistent and delicious, but now it's hit or miss in terms of flavor and cook. We gave it a chance for a little while but will not be going back. Percy's lost a long time patron. Too bad.

Kate our server was great! Very attentive and helpful serving our large party of 8. Large selection of breakfast options. Only complaint about this location would be it needs a desperate remodel especially the old, malfuntioning bathrooms.

We waited about 15-20 minutes for them to even take our name. Waited at least 45-50 minutes to finally be seated. I have never waited this long for breakfast. I tried to order hard boiled eggs and was told that it they don't do those there then she said well it's because I would have to wait 45 minutes for hard boiled. Never in my life have I ever seen it take that long to make hard boiled eggs so I just ordered something else. Every plate they brought over was dirty, the coffee mug had an empty sugar packet stuck to the inside. Besides all of that the prices are definitely a little high for breakfast.

The outside appears dumpy and faded, the inside is neat, clean and Old. Wait staff is great to Awesome. The food is very very good and in abundant portions. Avoid the Iced Tea, excellent bottomless Coffee. Very quick service from the kitchen...the water bottle is great idea ! Corn Bread to die for...
