Persy's Place Wareham, MA

We love coming to Persy’s Place for breakfast. I always get the corn beef hash with drop eggs and it never disappoints! Bill loves to get their light and fluffy omelettes with home fries. The selection of food is amazing from giant waffles to baked beans The staff is very friendly and the restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. We highly recommend this for breakfast.

This was by far the worst breakfast experience we have ever had. Shame it was for my husband's birthday. For starters, It's perfectly okay to write down your customers orders we aren't judging nor rating your memory skills, we simply want what we asked for. Waitress got both of our orders wrong and tried to save face by indicating my husband wasn't clear with his request...no young lady, hash browns mean hash browns, not home fries. That was not our fault. Hash browns and home fries came undercooked. Cheese came on top of the eggs straight out of the wrapper with no effort in melting it, after having forgotten the cheese the first time. When I stated that I thought the cheese would be melted into the eggs, the waitress said they had no way to melt the cheese, (strange... how are you cooking food back there?) but she could hold my plate under the warming lamp. Lastly (for the sake of time), silverware and cups were absolutely disgusting, looked like they had taken them from the last customers and placed them at our table, and then we were over charged on our bill for things we did not ask for. We were offered a complementary corn bread, which we did not take because we were over it. Hopefully this was just a bad morning for them, but we won't be risking it or wasting money there ever again.

I can only imagine how busy this place will be during the summer. Wonderful regular menu with lots of breakfast choices. The special menu is always creative and worth a look. The corned beef hash is legendary and the corn bread is great too; you even get a coupon for some good for your next visit. Small games at the table help keep the kids off the phones and pass the time. For the record the breakfast burritos are my favorite but they could use a little more spice. Only complaint!

While getting on here to write a review about this establishment, I happen to see a review that didn't seem to add up with what I saw and heard from 4 booths down. First off I want to start off by saying that the meal and service I received yesterday was excellent. Now, while enjoying my meal I happen to hear this customer complain about their meal. The waitress seemed very accommodating to the whole situation. I heard the costumer deny a few of the accommodations offered and the customer seemed to have left satisfied with her experience. I also want to point out that I had the same waitress as this customer. While our experiences may not have been the same, I never would have thought that after seeing the customer leaving satisfied that they would have written such a vindictive review.

my husband and I have been there a few times. Out of the last 3 times we were there only once did we have an enjoyable meal. The 1st and last time we did not like at all 1st time we were there we ended up walking out after an hour and a 1/2 of waiting and then the waitress brought us the wrong food. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. By the way this is the Percy's restaurant in Wareham on cranberry highway
