Persy's Place Middleboro, MA

This is primarily a breakfast place, but they DO have typical lunch items on the menu. The food is always good and served hot, with a huge selection of breakfast items, and combo dishes. If you go on a weekend, you had better be there by eight, or you will have at least a half hour wait. The parking situation is pretty bad, you need to get lucky to get a spot that doesn't require a backpack and compass! Also, the premises are beginning to look a bit "worn", it may be time for some new carpeting and furniture that is not all sticky from the maple syrup. However, if you are not squeamish about the old furniture and sitting almost shoulder to shoulder with your fellow dinners, you WILL get a great tasting meal, with great service.

I tried the buffalo omelet for the first time and it was EXCELLENT! My grandmother enjoyed the homemade corn bread, she fell in love with the place as it was her first time! The service was amazing everyone had a smile, the kitchen as busy as it was there was no long wait at all for the food, it came out fresh and hot! Will definitely be back for more overall an amazing experience and the food is to die for! Thank you!

No visit to Persy's is complete if you dont try your hand at the brain teasers. In my experience, these are quintessentially New England, as many places growing up had these and others at the table. There are also vocabulary cards for you and the kids to enjoy together. Always family friendly, kids young (and old!) treated with respect and a smile. So, take a load off, and grab a plate in good company at Persy's.

Food was excellent. Good size portions. Reasonably priced. Only complaint, not much room for parking or waiting for a seat. Other than that...I highly recommend this place.

The food is delicious. Our favorite is the homemade corned beef! We crave it during the week and have gotten it take out. We go so much, we have accumulated free cornbread coupons 3-4 at a time, but the new redemption policy of 1 per visit, not such a good policy, in my opinion. A few of the waitresses are very attentive. A good family atmosphere but sometimes the music is not family oriented, we have actually stopped going because of the type of music that has been playing. Our go to restaurant
