Good cat food selection. Some high end brands. Cat toy selection is lame, but cats are too smart to fall for most toys, anyway.

Think about the parents of the puppy and where she and he his. Don't be tricked when a employee say they come from "local" breeders and that is a complete lie. No reputable breeder ships their puppies off in the dead of night to some random store to be adopted by people they themselves know nothing about. Why? Because they love their dogs more than they love a paycheck. For the sake of animal welfare, adopt or find a reputable breeder you can meet in person and meet the dog parents as well. They should screen you just as hard as you screen them! Let's work to end pet stores and not fund or enable a cycle of cruelty powered by greed. USDA breeders are licenses puppy mills.

BEST pet store in NYC, and Chelsea!! Excellent customer service, friendly staff, GREAT selection of raw foods for both dogs and cats, plus discounts for frequent buyers! I've been shopping here for more than ten years now.
