Had a great stay here. Quick check in and check out. I arrived very early and they allowed me to check in early and though they didn’t have the room I requested they offered me a similar one. Bed and sheets were comfortable. Pillow could be firmer. The TV was a bit difficult to navigate but eventually got there. I did shower at 8am assuming most are too so the water wasn’t so hot but pressure was good. Besides that, enjoyed greatly and staff super nice.
From the beginning of our stay to the end, my husband and I had a blast! Everyone from the first person we talked to, to the last person of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Evan at the front desk especially went out of his way make me feel extra special on my birthday, which fell on the third day of our trip. We didn’t even tell him it was my birthday, he noticed from our Marriott account. He gave us a voucher for free breakfast and two vouchers for a drink or appetizer each for my husband and I on the day of my birthday. Then. He proceeded to go above and beyond So that we could instead have dessert with the vouchers instead of the drink or appetizer. And he was super nice about it! Definitely would recommend this hotel to people staying in Philly. Thanks!
This will forever be the hotel of my choice while I'm in the Philadelphia area. The hotel staff is very pleasant. The rooms are clean and spacious. The amenities are exceptional, and the lobby area is large and exclusive. My favorite person during this stay was check-in desk employee Venice. Our valet was $56 and the concierge luggage service is provided by the hotel staff. There was a very pleasant fragrance throughout the hotel something different from my former stay. I think this is perhaps an assurance of Covid protocols. I highly recommend this hotel.
Great Hospitality. Loved the people at night shift and Day shift. Rooms were perfect. Beds are comfy. Great location to see some walkable sights. Also Mr. Woody Is awesome! He was kind polite and saw that I needed help, and wasn't hesitant to ask. I wish I could get others names too! But my stay there was month ago. And till this day I remember there was A NEED A GREAT REVIEW for this Hotel.
The hotel is a bit old, and one can see it. The position is not too bad, but at night you indeed need a car or a taxi to move almost anywhere. I am a platinum member, so got a nice modern and updated room on a top floor, but I have heard from colleagues that was not the case on other floors. The continental breakfast is quite bad and uninspiring. People working at the reception are nice and do what they can with the hotel they have.
Quick trip to Philly for a conference and the Sheraton was the only option due to late booking. The hotel is showing it’s age but the convenient location and accommodating staff were a huge plus. Only several blocks from the convention center, it’s a short walk <10 mins to all of the action downtown has to offer. There are certainly more modern and luxurious options available but would stay here again if circumstances warranted.
I definitely enjoyed my stay . Evan at the front desk was very welcoming upon check in . Also a man named Mr. Earl went above and beyond to assure me of having a very comfortable stay for the entirety of my trip . He definitely did make me feel appreciated as a new member of ambassador status for sure . It was a pleasure staying with you guys for the week. Thanks again, .. sincerely Ms. cox
The service was outstanding; everyone in the hotel was polite and helpful and friendly. The rooms... Left a little to be desired, as the outdated AC could not keep the room even remotely cold and wound up freezing itself over trying. They were clean and nicely updated, but the air was a big issue. The actual meeting spaces and elevators... Those were grossly out of date. Power issues, wifi issues, elevators that creaked and groaned loudly when used; the list goes on. Basically, this is a hotel with a wonderful staff that needs a renovation in a big way.
Really enjoyed my stay here! The staff was so so nice and helpful, great coffee at the coffee bar. Rooms were clean and nice, A/C system worked very well so I slept comfortably I like it cold when I sleep!. Would stay here again any time!Rooms: 5/5
My husband and I went to Philadelphia for a wedding and we stayed at the Sheraton at Downtown. The hotel is in a great location where you can walk to all kinds of restaurants and museums. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with getting around the city. The hotel was also very clean. We would constantly see staff cleaning rooms in the hallway, offering us water, tea and fresh towels. Our hotel room was super cozy with a wonderful view to the city. The hotel has a small bar/restaurant in the lobby area where they also offer their delicious continental breakfasts. 5 star service. We hope to be back soon!
