Piedmont Triad International Airport

My favorite little airport. Garage parking is convenient, but a little more expensive than the long-term lots. Parking closer to the entrance is worth the extra money to be, but there are shuttle buses that will run you to the farther away lots if you want to save a few bucks. Security lines are also practically nonexistent, so you don't have to get here as early as you would at a bigger airport

We arrived at the airport on a flight from Charlotte at 11:30 pm on 4/23/18. The entire airport was dark. If I had been traveling alone I would have been terrified. The escalator to baggage claim was off. No lights in baggage claim at all , the automatic doors to outside were off and had to be forced open for us to exit. Our car was in long term parking and there was not one light on in the parking lot to walk to get it. We had to use the flashlight on cell phones in order to see.. I realize they dont do flights like major airports , but to leave a flight in total darkness is ridiculous. Next time I am flying out of Raleigh screw Greensboro. You must can't afford the light bill. Ten thumbs down. Never again.

I love flying out of PTI. It's so easy, so relaxed. The staff is great and tickets cost no more - as often less - than I would pay after driving to Charlotte ir Raleigh.

A very small but nice airport, it's impossible to get lost here. Couple decent restaurants, which they had slightly better quality. However Security check out time was the fastest I've had at any airport, they operate a well run tight ship here, whoever is managing this airport is doing a good job.

Easy to park and not far walk to terminal and time I parked and went through the TSA pre check Lane, it only took me about 15 min and all employees are helpful and nice and I will recommend this airport to anyone and this is my number one airport.
