Raleigh-Durham International Airport

The building itself is pretty nice, lots of natural light. The usual suspects for food and retail. I haven’t found any stations to fill water bottles, and there are no dedicated stations for quick charging phones, but there are mini charging stations build into some of the chairs by the gates. They are in high demand. Its nice that you can get here so easily from downtown raleigh.

The TSA crew here doesn’t know how to treat people like people. Spending an incredible amount of time questioning every single traveler’s form of identification. I didn’t feel comfortable removing a denim jacket because I only had an under shirt underneath. I agreed to a pat down if that was necessary. Another employee further down the security check questioned it, I explained. Then when I was in the body scan another employee advised I took it off. I uncomfortably agreed and then standing there with my arms up he pressed the “wrong button” twice and had to stand there even longer.... Will avoid this airport as a connection.

This airport is easy to get around in and had always been clean and on-time when I’ve flown in/out. There is one terminal building for all airlines except for Southwest Airlines which has its own terminal. There aren’t too many food/drink options here so if you want some good food, you should bring it with you or eat beforehand. Overall, this is one of the better airports in the US.

I arrived 10/15 early to pick up family and as I'm waiting the officer just start walking out writing tickets for vehicles being parked to wait upon family while I'm on my phone and telling him they're coming he tells me that I can't park at terminal arrival as I'm seeing my folks he starts to tripping so I told the officer there they were and he was rude to me, very disappointed a well plus I had already had a flat tire that same morning so by then I'm like sir they're coming out, be acted like he didn't care what so ever so he told me to move it, get a ticket or drive all the way around once again my thing is this don't come up to muy vehicle WITH that nasty attitude and think you won't get serve but he soon found out.Disrespectful ass self, don't do that people and learn patience and smile my goodness I hope i don't have to come no time soon here this place is so confusing with shock terminal, parking them dang split offs, and make an area for cars to wait on there loved ones because I definitely didn't have no more gas to keep driving around okay. Make a parking area for oncoming arrivals dam. You have a good day. JUST RIDICULOUS TRAFFIC PATTERNS

This is the smallest airport I've been to, but Terminal 2 is nicely rebuilt and clean. The layout of this Terminal is basically a long rectangle. I just wish there were more shops and restaurants. The only flaw is that there is only one area for security checkpoint, so the line can get very long. Haven't had any issues here and I don't need to give myself the extra time to be at an airport here.
