Pittman Wash Trail

One of my favorite trails...all though I have yet to walk the entire trail. I usually walk this with a couple of friends starting from the Arroyo Grande Sports Complex and heading west. We meet up at the Sports Complex in the parking lot whose entrance is on the Arroyo Grande side, not from the parking lot entrance on the Santiago side. In the mornings during the week there is sufficient parking there, and across the bridge there are public restrooms. It is an easy walk with paved pathways, the trees are well maintained, and there are underpasses so there is no need to cross major roadways...which is a plus both for pedestrians and drivers.

Your beloved pets have safe spaces for Large, Small or Mix. So, you don’t need to worry because they will be able to play with friends who have the same size!

Great walking/running trail! Way too small for bikes. Too many people/pets could get hurt.

Very nice walk that extends a long distance. I like seeing all the plants that are able to grow naturally, without any maintenance, in our hot, dry climate. Some areas make for some pretty backdrops for pictures, too! Also, as in my attached picture, the wash fills with rain water after it showers. It runs like a river!
