Friendly, quirky hometown style cafe. Southwest style food, various burgers, varied breakfast menu until 2 pm. Dinner specials, great food, simple but well prepared. Art for sale all over the walls.  The kind of place the locals like to go to.  Dog friendly patio. Large portions, inexpensive. Live music weekend nights.  My wife's favorite place to go to.

I love little places like this. It's a bit quirky and artsy and very laid back.  We've been there on a Friday night when there was a great band playing and we were there on a Saturday for a quiet lunch.  I highly recommend giving Placitas Cafe a try .

This place never disappoints! I always get the Jerry and Janis and my husband loves the beef burrito.  Chips and salsa are great and so are the green beans.  But do not leave without having your own piece of buttermilk pie!! Don't try sharing... order your own!!

This was an awesome breakfast and overall great experience. Huevos rancheros were some of the best I ever had. not to mention cute dog outside. 10/10

It's been a while since I have been to this neighborhood restaurant, but it hasn't changed. Good food, beer and wine, good service, entertainment, and a T-SHIRT, all at fair price. Shame on me for taking so long to get reacquainted.
