I grew up in the South and I've butchered and smoked my fair share of pig. I've had BBQ all over the Southeast, Texas and St. Louis. I feel like I know some good BBQ, and Whole Hog is just that. It's all about the pulled pork and the #3 sauce. Each of their locations are consistently delicious and I've always had charming service. Grab a sandwich for lunch or split a combo plate with a friend and you're getting more than you've paid for.

Pretty good beef brisket, but overall a bit over-priced. Really, $4.50 for a small cup of pudding and over $2 for a small bottled water? I understand wanting to make a profit, but I can get an excellent beef brisket at Rudy's along with drink, sides and dessert for much less. I won't be coming back. Too bad...if everything was a bit more reasonably priced I could see myself eating here regularly.

Based on only one visit, but I feel confident submitting a review considering this restaurant's reputation and my experience. Everything here was excellent - ribs, brisket (REALLY tender and tasty), mac & cheese, cole slaw, sweet tea and (most importantly) sauces. Heads-up about the mac & cheese: this is not traditional plain pasta and sticky cheese; had a veggies added (zucchini?), but if you're open-minded, it's really delicious. Service was efficient, thorough and friendly. I can't wait to dine here again.

This was one of the highlights of living in Albuquerque. Real southern barbecue in the southwest. I have never had a bad meal here. I love the brisket and the ribs. The meats are always done to perfection and they have the best sauces west of the Mississippi. If I wasn’t in another state I’d still be stopping by.

We had the "whole hog platter" for $23.61 which comes with three types of meat three sides to dinner rolls. Pretty good deal for two people to share. We had food left over. The pulled pork was really good the brisket was really good, and the ribs were really good. Definitely recommend. I posted a picture of the chalkboard menu along with food pictures and the restaurant
