Plainfield Donut Shop and Luncheonette

Plainfield Donut Shop has been a staple in the Plainfield community for decades (same owners)! The donuts are delicious, and served with ample portions for breakfast. Its small and only has breakfast bar style seating, so consider getting take out. Otherwise, people will be standing behind you ordering take-out while you eat.

This place is a hidden gem and maybe the only place i know that makes their own donuts. The place has that mom and pop feel from old school cash register to countertop with stools seating. They only make donuts for the day, so best to come early in morning for better selection.

This is the best donut on Earth by a mile. The half-glazed, half-chocolate marble donut is a gift from the gods. How the donut is simultaneously so light and tasty is beyond my comprehension, but all I know is I feel like I can eat half a dozen of them. If you're too scared to try a real donut besides that stale round glazed dough you get at America's favorite set of DD's, or if you're too shook to come to Plainfield, I suggest you overcome your fears and let your wildest dreams come true with these donuts tantalizing your taste buds on a sunny Tuesday morning!
