Uncle Doods Donuts LLC

The only donut shop that I visit on a regular basis. The menu changes monthly with a staple menu of combinations that don't change. It's a small shop that doesn't have a seating area, so expect to pick up and go. The owner is there nearly every day, along with his father and they're incredibly lovely people, personable and easy to have a chat with while you wait. They're dedicated to keeping a certain standard when it comes to their donuts and flavors. They're constantly washing their hands and making sure that things run smoothly. You can also order ahead Monday through Friday, but Saturday and Sunday it's first come first serve.

Awesome flavors and varieties of donuts! Very cool people working behind the counter as well! The only setback is that they are CASH Only establishment so if you're somebody who uses a debit or credit card, you better stop off at the ATM before going.

Handmade donuts right downtown. The donuts themselves are mostly all the same, but you pick what topping you want. And they have a big variety of toppings to choose from. I have my favorites, so they're some I haven't chosen. But the ones I like, damn . . . I like. Top notch, and when we're visiting my parents in Toms River, I stop by pretty much every time and grab a half dozen.

Uncle Doods is a very good place for donuts and I've been going there since the day they opened their doors. They charge extra money now for any kind of filling, but what I have found lately is whenever I buy a filled donut there is barely any filling in it. I don't mind paying $0.50 extra per donut but I really think they should be putting the correct amount of filling because if you don't it's just not worth it, The Filling is barely even there! There are lots of places you can go to now for custom Donuts so I think Uncle Doods needs to realize now they are not the only game in town so they need to do better!

Simply the best! Hot fresh and dipped in front of you. Great unique selection and a great staff.
