Plaza Azteca

I was a huge fan of the restaurant when it was first opened years ago. After a change in management I noticed a substantial decrease in quality of both food and service. I then took a break for years. Having heard there was a more recent change in management I and a friend decided to revisit Plaza Azteca and to our surprise our experience was delightful and thoroughly enjoyable. Food quality has vastly improved and service was impeccable. Plaza Azteca is back and I look forward to once again frequently visiting one of Manchester's best Mexican restaurants.

Service is too slow hen trying to grab lunch during the workday. You can easily spend over an hour at the restaurant even if there are not many customers. There is a very nice outdoor patio that is a great hangout for happy hour beverages, dinner or when you can afford a longer lunch.

I went with a large group of at around 25 people. I have never had better service at a restaurant. The server Pedro kept all the drinks, chips and salsa constantly refilled without us asking. We also expected issues with the bill because usually with a large group, restaurants don't like to separate the Bill's. Pedro had it separated with the correct orders without us even asking. And on top of the phenomenal service, the food was excellent. The queso fundido is a must have appetizer. Highly recommend this place to hang out with friends. And if you can, request Pedro as your server!

Shrimp and Rice is our favorite dish. Service is great as well as ambience. When the Mexican band is there it's a very happy place!

Great queso and I've never really had anything bad here. Guacamole is really good and the drinks for sure! Today there was a mariachi band playing which was fun!
