Margaritas

Good atmosphere, but that was about all that was good... Waited 15 minutes for anyone to recognize we were sitting at a table, waited another 20 minutes for water, and the food came out mediocre, and not entirely correct. Waitress didn’t pay attention to anything we asked for (2 containers, only brought one, asked three times for water, etc). Anyone have any recommendations for better Mexican restaurants?! A girl just needs good tacos.

Lots of room for a large get together and dining room style seating also. Food was hot and tasty and the drinks were very good. The wait staff was there when you needed them ( we were with a large party on the lounge side)

Beautiful bar area with lots of tables & bar itself is really big. Beautifully decorated, very warm & inviting. Points for a jukebox (electronic). We always have a large group & can airways sit or stand together. Well stocked bar & always good drinks. And, chips & salsa. Yum! They do have happy hour specials but I typically arrive later. Always good service on the bar side. That said, on Thursday & Friday you have to get there by 5-5:30 for parking, otherwise you park at the hotel across the street & walk across 4 lanes of traffic; it's very loud, then around 7pm they crank the music and we really have to yell to hear each other. I'm my 20s, cool; in my 40s, still a nice place but not my first choice when I actually want to visit the people I'm with. Half the building is the bar and half is the restaurant. The restaurant does very well with groups and families & also has a warmly decorated environment. The staff does not always love bar folks migrating over - as you can imagine, people will go over for food & rehydrate after hours at the bar to, put bluntly, sober up & I've seen friends (in their late 30s, not kids) not so kindly welcomed. Comes with the territory of being attached to a bar, though I'm sure it gets old. There's a pretty good variety on the menu, they highlight vegetarian options and I think there are a few plain-Jane dishes if you're not in the mood for Mexican. Everything is always fresh, tasty, well prepared & fairy priced.

If I could give it 0 stars, I would. I came with a big group that the restaurant was aware of before hand. I was there for 2 hours and never got my food. We were the third party in the group there and got our orders taken last. My entire table got their meals and then someone came over and asked me what I ordered. THEY HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT ME! I waited another half hour while the rest of my party finished their meals. I told them I didn’t want it anymore and then they tried to give me a check after we waited yet another 20 minutes for those. They said oh well they’re going to wrap it up for you and I just stopped her and said I do not want it and I am not paying. Not once did a manager come over to talk to me and apologize. It was the worst experience I’ve had. Do not go there.

The food was great. The energy was live. The drinks....oh yes!! I appreciated how nice the staff was to us despite how busy it was. No attitudes, no brush offs. We were treated with courtesy and as valued customers. As many times as Ive eaten here, suprisingly, ive never had an issue. Great spot. Definitely one of my favorite spots to go to.
