Plaza Azteca

Love this place!! Food is well seasoned and yummy! Their house margarita is always on target and the staff is friendly as well. Wish they didn't get rid of their shredded pork.. still one of my favorite spots to chill with family or friends..

Having been a big fan of Plaza Azteca when it first opened years ago it was sad to see quality drop after a change in management. Now, years later after having heard there was a more recent change I decided to take another chance. I was very pleasantly surprised. The quality in food, service, and drinks has risen higher than ever. Azteca is back and I look forward to frequenting one of the best Mexican restaurants in CT.

The atmosphere of this restaurant feels incredibly authentic. They have the whole place designed with Mexican architecture, art, and more. The quesadilla was cooked quite perfectly. Table-side guacamole is also a unique experience.

This is a really cool place to go for dinner. They make really good guacamole which they make fresh right next to your table. They also make great burritos and a dish called the Pina Loca which is stake, chicken and peppers baked and served in half a pineapple. It's absolutely delicious.

I came in not knowing what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Authentic tasting tableside guacamole in Connecticut? Nice. Food was great and reasonably priced, worth a visit.
