I went today to this location to open a new account and I do not understand all the hate it gets from other people here. I had to wait more than expected which did frustrate me initially but the people that work here especially Sukhi, Elizabeth and Abdul made sure I got good service. I would definitely recommend this location and bank. I would suggest that make an appointment before hand and be prepared to wait read "be patient" before getting serviced.
They didn’t let open a business checking account when I’m a tax payer citizen I have all my documents. Straight up racial profiling
Made an appointment online required due to covid precautions for simple notary services. Was told by a teller that the banker who my appointment was with had already left for the day, so I proceeded to wait a half hour. The banker I ended up working with was very pleasant and apologized for the long wait, which I appreciated. However, we spent about 20-25 minutes going over details of my checking account before getting to what I was actually there for - which ended up taking less than 5 minutes. To top it all off, I received an automated text message 2 DAYS after checking in for the appointment alerting me that they were ready to see me for my appointment. Tl;dr - reasonably pleasant staff, very disorganized, way too much time wasted
Before visiting this bank, I read the reviews, which were quite negative, but still decided to withdraw money from the international card, and also open a new account as an international student. If the other banks did not take a commission for withdrawing cash from the bank, here, the girl at the checkout office said that the bank will withhold the commission. Also, in addition to the passport, She requested another debit card to verify the identity. But since I did not have another card, she refused to issue money. Also, I couldn’t open an account due to the fact that I did not have an address confirmation in the form of a lease agreement or utility bills, which was also not requested in other banks. Also, I did not like how all this was presented by employees, at the same time politely and categorically. After the visit, there was an unpleasant aftertaste. I want to try to open an account in other branches of this bank, and I hope not to come to this branch of the bank again.
I've had the worst experience in the last year with this bank. To be informed that my card can be copied along with the pin number being copied at any ATM machine and have funds removed from my account and the card charged without being it aa guarantee that anyone will not be refunded back, is devastating. Unfortunately I had this issue and have disputed the issue to be denied yet be informed that I have to take a loss of over 1,000. I'm devastated yet not safe with this bank. To actually go through something like this is horrible. I had to close my account and go elsewhere because my money wasn't nor isn't safe at PNC Bank. Not to mention, I've been with PNC Bank for over 10+years. I've never had a problem until 2018 with this bank. You know that an ATM can copy your card information along with your pin number and someone else can create a card and take out funds at any ATM machine without your authority and lose is insane. You can't dispute it because you'll lose. As much as you try to dispute it, you won't win. The bank will not refund your money. The worst part is, if you went to an ATM machine to withdrawal money, and that machine copied your information without you knowing and that someone else who copied your information uses that ATM machine to withdrawal money after you used it, because it is an easy machine to scam people, and the bank see that, you will lose and although your not at fault and you didn't do it, you will lose. I closed out my account with this bank. I've been with another branch for the past 6 months and I haven't had any issues as of yet. I feel sorry for anyone who is banking with PNC Bank.
Opening an account with PNC was one of my biggest mistakes, it was NOT worth the HASSLE and AWFUL customer service. My time is precious, I don't have hours to waste on being given the run around just to answer one simple question, or being forced to go online to do one simple task, or being forced to go into the branch just to find out my account status. Ridiculous, no wonder nobody has a PNC account, I'll stick to a more popular bank that has much better, easier and more efficient service thank you very much.
Worst banking services. They don't value new customers here. Please don't waste your time going to this PNC branch. Bankers here are rude and literally don't know what they are looking for in documentation if you are looking to open up a bank account.
Worst PNC I have ever had to deal with. On almost every occasion they have sat me in this waiting area for long periods of time only to call me over and say they can't help me. I literally need to take the train into Manhattan to do most of my banking because they are magically able to help me there. Maybe this branch can figure out if they can help me or not before I wait on them.
Awful service in this branch. I had check , recent Driving License and Debit card to withdraw cash greater than ATM but the branch still wants to have my previous state license to issue cash. Does not have basic sense that when you get transfer to new state the license gets changed.
Slow like molasses, multi tasking be a great management goal
