Seriously one of the best chicken places I’ve ever been to. Don’t be fooled by it being fast food. This chicken is good enough that it could be a very popular place in Midtown with craft beer. Wish I could own a franchise. The place is crazy busy.
We just decided to go here last minute and we’re not disappointed! The fried chicken was delicious, the batter on it was perfect. It was our first time to try yuca fries and the lady was so nice to give us a sample before ordering. Then to top it off the plantains were great!
Terrible, my wife went to pick up food on today because we had been out shopping all day. We were given burnt grill chicken, picked over fried chicken. This place is too expensive to give such poor quality of food. The fry boxes had almost nofries in the box. Don’t waste your money.
Grilled and or fried the chicken is definitely flavorful all the way to the bone! Beans were amazing and the mango/ nectarine juice was good too! Staff was very friendly. I will definitely be coming back!
I was actually really pleasantly surprised at how good the campero salad bowl was. Also same with the horchata although there is a nut allergy warning if you plan on ordering that. The empanadas were also good but not as flavorful as the bowl. Friendly staff and food was fresh.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Only give you what you pay for when you are Mexican, if you are black, white, or any other kind of brown they will just give any which food at you without a care. Always make the mistake to try this place and never fail to be snubbed as soon as they prepare my order. Witnessed a Black lady customer in front of me… they forgot her drinks, napkins, and sauces, basically everything but chicken. Completely careless. She had to kind of get mean just to get her items they missed because the entire team was just very uncaring and didn’t seem to even know what was missing, Anytime you come in, they will automatically only half fill your sides if you aren’t Mexican… at least that’s what they have shown me. All while at the end of the night they are taking care of themselves, and packing up the good stuff to take home. I asked for any kind of hot sauce, or salsa for the chicken. They played stupid and acted like there was no hot sauce… now looking online there was. They just didn’t want to inconvenience themselves and thought because I wasn’t Hispanic, I don’t need sauce or salsa. Just selfish people running this restaurant. Cutting corners on every meal so they can take your food home and eat what YOU paid for. Basically Don’t eat here if you aren’t Hispanic, they won’t take care of you the same way they do themselves. If you are Hispanic and want to go out of your way to eat here for the way they will uplift you above anyone else, by my guest. But you are supporting their ill-treatment of everyone else.
There's no increased value to getting a "combo" or really good value to any items. A chicken sandwich, single side and a drink is over $14. I can't think of any other normal drive thru with this high of pricing on items like this. Theres also constantly missed items requested on my order, I didn't get charged for them but I definitely asked for them. I've received different sized sides when requesting the same item at different times. Just can't really justify wasting my time or money here anymore regardless of whether the food is or isn't good.
3 stars cause they my people, but in reality 2 stars. def was not expecting a bowl and a drink for $14. Large drink alone was $3! And the bowl I purchased wasn’t even filled. Don’t think I’m coming here again. Please do better. First picture is the campero bowl. 2nd is qdoba. I would advise to go to qdoba.
Average. $9.23 for this is not worth it. The nuggets didn’t have any flavor and the mashed potatoes seemed to taste like instant potatoes. The bread is just a cheap bun that you would get at at your aunts house the one you don’t like that much, but you have to go anyway because your mom said so. No drink provided with this meal combo either.
Awesome spot, both the fried and grilled chicken is very tasty. The empanadas are more like little chicken pot pies, which isn't a bad thing. All the sides were tasty and well portioned. Would recommend for lunch
