It was ok. The menu was limited to burgers or steaks with baked potato or salad as a side. There wasn't much indoor seating but we sat outside and it was pleasant. The drinks were good, I think mine was called a monsoon. The staff was friendly and efficient in taking our order and delivering. Overall it was good. Features: None
This was a great spot to stop in for lunch. The burgers are huge and delicious, as are the baked potatoes. The bartender was very generous with my drink Neptune's monsoon and I was able to continue enjoying it after lunch.
This place!!!! This is what a well oiled machine looks like. The staff was beyond amazing. Friendly and attentive. Food was fresh and delicious. Ron and Mary were a great team. Manager was so nice and informative will definitely be back
This place has a very casual vibe. Cool ship/sea related stuff inside. Smells a little funky though. Drinks are well priced. The burger was good, but not exceptional, as was the baked potato. I appreciated that they don’t skimp you on the cheese and sour cream.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
I have been told many times that this burger will be possibly the best I've ever eaten. This burger is not even the best I've had in the New Orleans area. For a place with such popularity and such a huge name you would expect a few things. You would expect the bottom bun to be toasted so that the heavy burger cooked medium rare doesn't leak into it and make it fall apart. You would expect your cheese to be melted. You would expect to get bacon when you order bacon on your baked potato and not the salad bar style bacon bits. $16 burger. The burger tasted good and was meaty, the baked potato tasted good, and our server was friendly. Those are the positives from Port of Call. Honestly, super average...won't be going back.
Was told about this place from a coworker. Decent place and the drinks kinda snuck up on you. The burger was good, but it was angus and not the greasy gut bomb I was hoping for. No French fries, just baked potato. That was a different experience for me. Server was good and it was our first meal in New Orleans.
The Cheeseburger is so delicious. The baked potato was fantastic. I got a Monsoon. It a very tasty mix drink that is VERY strong. Id recommend it every time.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
I’m sorry to say, this place was essentially just…okay. Alexis was a great server, outdoor seating was pleasant, but our burger…just not good. Shredded cheddar on top…baked potato with barely any butter, packaged bacon bits…it could be a lot better with very little effort. I can’t speak to the inside, so maybe that would have helped a bit…but hard to say. With that said…I enjoyed my drink! Thanks for the recommendation, Alexis!
Very good burger and back potato. You can order you burger medium which awesome and shown this picture. Thier menu is is limited. But, they are good at what they do. Nothing a good old-fashioned burger. They also have a full bar.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
This place is cute and cozy and the burgers are delicious, bonus you get a loaded baked potato. Cocktails are tasty and a great size. I really enjoyed having dinner here.Food: 5/5
