Poultney Area Taxi

He arrived on time and he was very accommodating. I was a unsure if "Poultney Taxi" was a real business, but it does actually exist. He's an older, local Poultney resident; very friendly. In typical Poultney fashion, his car was not the standard yellow taxi with labels, instead it was a white Chevy Impala. I was a little nervous at first because it was a guy and I was traveling solo (with my cat -he had a vet appointment) but from my 2 experiences, there is nothing to worry about in that regard. -He tends to operate early morning until about 9 pm; every day. -He is no longer able to take MasterCard or Visa (as of 6/11/14) so bring cash money. If you don't have cash, he will stop wherever you need to get cash-back. -Cost of a ride from Poultney to Rutland one way was $35.
