On March 5 I faxed a copy of a letter to the editor I had submitted concerning some activity in my neighborhood on Sat, March 3 when I called 911 to report what looked to me like criminal activity. At 11 PM I heard noise comming from a home across the alley from me I saw at least two people loading up scrop from the yard into a trailer and they apparently told the officers they were cleaning up for a mortgage company?? I guess the officers believed them because they (the truck) drove off. I had hoiped that the chief of police would call me and explain what happened. These people were crooks - scavengers looking for homes that are vacant or no one is home. It is a big concern of mine and should be to others. Hopefully the police chief will see this and call me!! My phone number is on the letter. These needs a high priority and our citizens need to be on the alert in their neighborhoods.
