Persistent and Diligent Harassment + Naive Citizen(me) = Unjust Incarceration and Conviction... Sadly the order of the legal proceedings is the "Norm" in Utah. Guilty Until Proven Innocent as OK opposed to Innocent Until Proven Guilty like the Country was Founded!

The American Fork police dept has the absolute worst/disrespectful police officers known to mankind. I was rushing a friend to the hospital after an insane head injury and I swear the officer that pulled us over intentionally took his sweet time to print out a ticket. Then after acknowledging that i was going 5 mph over, he printed out a ticket for 20 mph over. The only place i have ever been pulled over is American fork. They absolutely suck The worst Disrespectful Rude Inconsiderate Any term that defines suck is the AMERICAN FORK POLICE.

Had an alarm malfunction at 3:00am this morning which has never happened in the 3 years we've had it in place. The panel in our second story bedroom said "Basement Window", and we had to assume it was real. We went full defense mode with weapons drawn while we called for help. Two officers were at our house within three minutes of us dialing 911 and they took care of the situation like absolute professionals. They handled their weapons very well and took the scenario seriously. Their movements were tactical and deliberate and I could tell they were well trained. Turns out a tiny little wire had worked its way lose over time and finally malfunctioned, causing a false alarm. They couldn't have been more gracious and reassuring, despite the fact that we felt like idiots. I cannot explain how comforting it is to have GREAT help arrive so quickly in a situation where fear is genuinely setting in. A+ to the AF Police Force! Thanks so much for all you do!

I am giving a one star because I support the boys in blue and what they stand for. However, when I call a police department about something that genuinely concerns me I don't want the responding officer to act like I have wasted their time or that I'm an idiot for worrying about something as simple as heavy drugs. Maybe the community you are there to protect and serve shouldn't feel stupid for trying to better their city.

horrible.. they are making american fork the new west valley. if not worse! It's almost like we don't have a police department for how much they do. don't get me wrong i support the police. But the AF police are a mess.
