A very comfy stay in a beautiful lodge. Ray provided us with a delicious vegan dinner and took us around to see the small town of Red Rock. He is very informative and kind host. I would definitely stay here again. It's a great spot if you want to spend a few days exploring northern Ontario. It is in close proximity to some very cool spots.

Beautiful historic log-built lodge with a million dollar view. The rooms are comfortable and clean with a rustic charm. Comfy beds. There is a camp fire spot out front, so bring your smores ingredients. The property is adjacent to a trail leading to a beautiful lookout of the bay. Oh yeah - and the breakfast is home cooked and delicious.

This historic gem of an inn is a magical alternative to the highway motels along highway 17 north of Lake Superior. I would love to come back here in a heart beat and stay for a bit longer so that we could enjoy Ray's friendly hospitality and the rustic atmosphere of this cozy retreat from the busy-ness of city life

Atmospheric lodge with cosy rooms, unpretentiously and pleasantly operated. The porch offers an outstanding lookout onto the lake, inviting to watch the changing water colours for hours. Excellent choice for a relaxing 2-3 days break in a lake superior circle tour. Red Rock (downtown) and its marina were a nice surprise as well, don't miss both, neither the hiking trail to Nipigon.
