Been going here for every major mechanical and essential item. I started commuting in fall 2017 and my neglected 90's mountain bike didn't handle it for long. Ethan tuned it up and gave it new life and Michelle made sure I left with an actual lock I was using a cable lock. They've saved me more than once, today was no exception. I'm a full time student and my bike is my sole mode of transport, so I was apprehensive when it came to calling in help to finish an upgrade project before the next morning. Ethan once again rescued me, changing out a BB and fixing a bent derailleur hanger. He even spent extra time troubleshooting a problem I cause by installing an incompatible rear mech. Fast and reasonably priced, really can't be more grateful to have a quality local shop within walking distance.
Great staff. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and good at communicating what's happening with your bike. We've had our bikes tuned here and purchased accessories that they've helped install. It's our go-to bike shop and we are so glad to have them in the neighborhood.
This is such a great bike shop! Ethan and Michelle have always provided exceptional service to our bikes. Better yet they won't try to sell you anything you don't want or need. Always love coming here and bringing in my bike for tuneups. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out.
Staff is nice, they stock items I actually want to look at and purchase. I chose to shop here because I was seeking out a light to pair up with my dynamo hub and I knew they would have something I would be interested in but I didn't know from online which light would work best for my application. They special ordered the one I concluded would work best for me after they showed me several bikes in the shop with different options, something that would be impossible in most bike shops as they don't stock these types of items. I've gone back several times since and pretty much consider this my shop for most of my cycling needs.
The staff at this shop went above and beyond to help me get an odd sized seat binder bolt for my bicycle. I had gone to a few other shops in the area beforehand, and had no luck at any. The staff went out of their way to custom cut the piece I needed for my bicycle, even though both of the staff members were in the middle of other projects. I will definitely be back, and I'm bringing my friends!
Had a flat on Labor Day and they were the only shop open near Sloan's Lake. Got me in in short order and was back on the bike. VERY cool shop and employees hot sure if one/both were owners. Great local shop to patronize.
Unbelievably good customer service—met me for bike drop off even when the store was Ted open. This is how you run a biz during covid. And they’re damn good with bikes too, that helps .
Don't go to slo hi. They refused to repair my bike ensuring it's safe to ride. Queen City did a fantastic job with affordable parts and service. Highly recommended!
This is a great owner operated shop with a good variety of bikes and parts, as well as reliable repairs and tune-ups. Before moving to this location, it was at 32nd and Lowell as Urbanistic Tea and Bikes. I miss the tea, but love having a good shop in the neighborhood.
Ethan is always great at taking care of all my families bikes, including our xtra-cycle.
