Great place to stop for food and drink before or after a Hawkeye game. Plenty of nice craft beers on tap. The food is excellent - it's several steps above your typical bar food. I haven't had anything on the menu that I didn't like. The kitchen is open until midnight. Service has been great every time I've been in.

Food is straight forward. Nothing special, but usually well executed. Meets expectations. Beer selection is great and affordable. Service varies, bartenders are usually great and attentive.

Food wasn't at good as I could have made at home, service was not remotely friendly, and at times downright rude. The soda had a weird taste like soap or mold was in the lines. Very disappointed.

I was up charged a $0.50 “fee” for a pick-up/take-out order consisting of a single sandwich. Really? What is it about a pick-up/take-out order that justifies this? The take-out container? Seems hard to believe this is why, as eat-in table service and/or clean-up from eat-in table service is equal to the cost of the take-out container. Extra labor? Nope. A pick-up/take-out order requires the same amount of kitchen labor as an eat-in order, but doesn’t require full wait staff labor. So labor costs are far less for pick-up/take-out than eat-in service. So, is it a forced gratuity? If so, label it as such. If this was why, you screwed yourself out of a larger gratuity. I was prepared to add a couple of bucks, but after seeing this ridiculous up charge left no tip at all.
