The gentleman at the front desk was so helpful and nice. After reading other reviews,. I would like to say I totally agree with the cuteness of the rooms. The antlers on the light fixture was quite creative. The price is right. For those who didn't have a good experience. Sometimes a second chance will pay off. It's been hard for so many during the pandemic. Best of luck to this motel. My bank and favorite pizza place was a glance away.

Fair facilities with cute decorations. It is essentially a motel, and we rarely saw any staff but not that we really needed it. In the morning there's no breakfast but a lot of people were fumbling with trying to figure out how to make coffee so don't consider that reliable either. It seemed clean enough but it's located right next to a high speed road which provides most traffic. If you're a light sleeper, then this certainly isn't going to help. For the price range, there are likely better alternatives

Comfortable and cozy little place. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. Ive stayed in both a regular room and sleeping pod and enjoyed both. Great place for a good nights sleep!

Don't waste your money, it may cost you more than your stay... They messed up our booking and cleared our room a day early, leaving us stranded to find somewhere to stay.They did not try to call or anything before going through all our stuff. They lady at the front desk was very rude about the whole situation and said this happens all the time.I am missing 2 north face coats and a sweatshirt. Would not recommend this place to anyone

I love this hotel it's close to where I need to be I'm going up and back constantly from Seward to Anchorage for medical appointments everyone has been very kind about that they have put me on the first floor the entire time which is really super nice I get stuck trying to plow my own car out and one of the guys came out and said here let me get you out of there so cuz I got stuck so he helped me out put me on my room and said stay there LOL somebody was always running around the hotel checking things out making sure everybody was safe I've been there when they have had questionable people and have been able to 86 somebody off the property they were very professional about it there was no yelling or screaming. I love the lobby it looks like a really nice family get together table that's great. The hotel is clean there's somebody always doing the shower upstairs which you have to try to European is great but after every shower guys in there cleaning away everybody Smiles happy to see you. They all got together and shoveled my car out and it was heavy. I went up to New sagaya bought some goodies put them on John's desk with a note saying thank you for everything and thank you for your kindness and folded up . When I got down to Anchorage I called to make sure they wanted me to call them make sure I got home okay so I did almost said they love the cookies and cake. Well they do me a great favor Rooms: Rooms were nice and clean and made up they only had a couple housekeepers they really did a good job for how busy they were we were the hotels full of the the weekend I went up so I would say the housekeepers did their job big time Nearby activities: I believe if you walk across the street there's a little pond with a walkway but you can walk and if you want to walk a mile UAA campus is there it's nice to be able to walk around down there Walkability: I am I am a proponent of walking and biking they have a biking trail as well as a walking trail it's on the stress out of the system I love that I guess not anything normal it's just what I do I just love to walk or ride my bike:- Food & drinks: I saw that if you walk around the corner and left the right hand side of the hotel or you can get food if there is a single bar they must be busy because it's hard to get in there they're open all the time you can order a small amount of food with your drinks which is great they'll even serve you coffee and non-alcoholic drinks. I'm allergic to alcohol deathly allergic and they've got a menu for those of us that want to drink that's not so oh they're drinking a non-alcoholic drink hahaha

Me and my 2 daughters stayed here in August for 3 nights, we had a beautiful clean room, it was in a great location, Jen the manager was super lovely to us and was so helpful, there is a male collegue aswel who was super helpful and always replied to my messages im sorry I forgot your name.

This was a great hotel took me an my family late at night and still had available rooms staff was great very nice, room is comfortable has a TV wifi works great enjoy it for the most part .Rooms: 5/5

Well kept rooms. No customer service. Security is nosy, but it keeps out the weirdos. Good deal for the cost. Safety: Good security guard

Well I had a weird time at the Qupqugiaq but both ladies who work at the front desk were polite and helpful, as well as the security officer. I stayed in the Japanese pods during my stay and it wasn't bad at all. A very different experience than any other hotel room you would stay at and I mean that positively. I would recommend the Qup to anyone who needs refuge against Alaska.
