This is a big station, some trains are going Express to Radburn from Secaucus. You can wait inside the station in cold/rainy/hot weather (except for weekends). Also there is a real person behind the counter in business hours so you could ask questions or buy tickets with real person. Huge park and ride lot helps to the commuters that are not living nearby (total three paid parking lots near the station).

I come here often because I live in Fair Lawn. I love trains and this train station.

Almost no amenities. The train station building is closed for repairs and there is no sign of when they will be done. When waiting for a train and here is one small overhead that is too narrow so it doesn’t protect you from rain or snow. The benches are away from the train tracks and not covered.
