750+ ms Ping on a regular basis. Expect to watch all video content on the lowest quality if you don't want to buffer every 3-5 seconds. Internet regularly stops broadcasting requiring a hard reset of all the equipment. This may be a small town, but the seemingly indifferent staff that shrug you off goes a long way to destroying the company's business. If you have another option, take it. The company won't last long once a larger company steps in, guaranteed

Eatonville has fiber, but if you live just outta town you are stuck w/ inconsistent speeds & connections. Sometimes the speed test page won't load & when you call for help you are met with all is fine. Almost like we should just be happy we have the crappy service. Create a ticket & see if they will call you back... ugh Dish service is looking like a better option.

If you have any other options go with them I have dealt with Rainer connect for years now and its been nothing but a pain in the butt. I got the best internet package available to me and I still have nothing but connection problems, I tried using their router and modemn to try and prove it is their internet is just garbage, and to no surprise i was right using their equipment actually made my problems worse, they are a terrible company that has their claws dug into this town and are in a position where because we can't get anything better we're stuck with them until hopefully the day comes where we are given a choice in our internet provider.

I was with Comcast for years until moving to Eatonville. Comcast instigated a data cap shortly before we moved. Rainier connect has no data caps at this time. There were problems with the service at first but Rainier Connect was very responive and sent numerous people out at odd hours to fix the problem for us, and evebtually it was fixed. We have not had any problems since. The price is fair and speed is usable for streaming HD video or online gaming on multiple devices, about 15mbit/s. I'm very pleased with this company.
